Welcome to Lincoln Woodworks. We build high-quality, custom picnic tables and other wood products using traditional production methods. We make each of our real-wood items from scratch and by hand, using old-growth lumber sourced from the Pacific Northwest and Alaska.
About Our Wood
Our custom picnic tables are designed to last. And we build them fast — four hours from start to finish. We use only the finest quality wood and the most appropriate natural color stains, sealers, and/or treatments.
All our cedar comes from local mills and distributors.
Our custom picnic tables are produced with yellow Alaskan cedar — known throughout the industry as the hardest cedar in the world. This lumber is rot-resistant and supremely durable.
Because cedar typically grows at elevation, the trees themselves actually grow more slowly; this is what makes each board old-growth lumber.
Finally, our lumber is true-dimension. For example, standard 2 x 6 lumber actually measures out to 1.5 x 5.5. Our lumber, however, retains its true dimensions.
Sustainability, Service, and Satisfaction
Lincoln Woodworks emphasizes upcycling and sustainable production methods in our work. Some of our items are made using materials reclaimed from old buildings and other sources.
